Expert International Affairs
As our International Affairs Expert you ensure that skeyes can take a well-considered position at international meetings by elaborating an optimum strategic positioning in consultation with the parties involved within skeyes and the Executive Committee. That is why it is important that you have a solid knowledge of Air Traffic Management.
What does a skeyes Expert International Affairs do?
- You will monitor the activities of various international organisations (CANSO, Eurocontrol, FABEC, EASA, ICAO…), manage the skeyes representation in their working groups and participate in international meetings yourself.
- You will initiate and maintain strategic partnerships that benefit the development of skeyes.
- You will facilitate communication and information exchange within skeyes concerning key ATM policy and regulatory developments
- You will elaborate presentations and speaking notes for international meetings and prepare and hold internal briefings.
- You will prepare notes and presentations for the executive committee in which you will elaborate specific topics high on the international agenda.
Candidate profile
What makes you the perfect Expert International Affairs?
- You hold a Master’s degree.
- You have 5 to 10 years of professional experience in a similar position, allowing you to have become well acquainted with international meetings and be capable to represent skeyes.
- You have good knowledge of or experience with Air Traffic Management.
- You have previous knowledge and experience with the Single European Sky institutional framework and key ANSPs stakeholders
- You have strong conceptual and strategic thinking abilities and sound powers of persuasion, including the ability to adapt communication to different situations and audiences
- You like working cross departmentally and you have no trouble familiarizing yourself quickly with operational, technical, financial, institutional and legal aspects.
- You have an excellent command of English, both in writing and orally (knowledge of other languages is an advantage)
- You are prepared to travel abroad.
