We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Human Performance Expert to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of human performance principles and a proven track record of applying these principles in a complex industry such as aviation.
What does a Human Performance Expert do at skeyes?
- Change Management: prior to implementing changes to an operational system, their impact is analysed. As a Human Performance expert, you examine the impact in terms of Human Factors.
- Investigation of aviation incidents: each reported incident is followed by an investigation in which you, as a Human Performance Expert, highlight the human aspect: in what way did teamwork, stress, team roles, attention/distraction, training, ... play a role in the occurrence of the incident?
- Development and optimisation of processes and methodology: both for change management and for the investigation of aviation incidents, you work out new frames of thought or processes to evaluate the human factors aspects in a systematic way.
- Providing expertise: you act as a Human Factors expert for various departments.
Candidate profile
What makes you the perfect Human Performance Expert ?
- You hold a master's or PhD degree in cognitive, experimental, industrial/organisational or applied psychology, educational sciences or in human factors or equivalent.
- You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Technical training as an aviation professional (ATCO, engineer, pilot), concrete experience in the aviation sector or having obtained an ATPL, CPL, PPL is a big plus.
- You have a creative mindset and link this to innovative problem-solving thinking.
- You are willing to undergo continuous training in the field of Human Factors in the aviation sector.
- You speak and write English fluently and have a very good command of Dutch and French.
