Maintenance Technician - Aviation Systems (Antwerp)

As our Maintenance Technician, you have a passion for aviation technology and IT and/or electronics are not unknown to you. You will be responsible for the proper functioning of the complex systems that ensure the safety of air traffic.

What does a skeyes Maintenance Technician do?

  • You carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of the systems for which you have been trained, thereby contributing to continuous and safe air traffic.
  • You participate in optimising and modernising the systems.
  • You work together with the various services at the airport to perform your job.
  • You supervise new colleagues during their training for the various systems in which you have been trained.

Candidate profile

What makes you the perfect Maintenance Technician?

  • You have a graduate/bachelor's degree in electronics, in aeronautics or equivalent;
  • You have knowledge of radio frequency (RF) techniques, IT/computer networks and digital and analogue electronics;
  • You are eager to learn. Attending internal training ensures that you build and maintain a high level of expertise for the systems;
  • You are flexible and participate in a rotation system to be available after normal working hours to keep the systems operational 24/7;
  • You are a team player, but you are also able to work autonomously and like to take initiative when the situation requires it;
  • You are stress-resistant, and can maintain an overview and come to a solution in an unforeseen situation;
  • You have a type B driving licence to move easily around the intervention sites;
  • You have a good knowledge of Dutch and English, but can also express yourself in French.
