CLASS 1 PILOTS

You are a Class 1 pilot and want to start flying using Droneguide?

We’ll just need to know a little more about yourself before pointing you in the right direction.

In case you appear in the list of pilots of a valid Class1 operator’s Ops manual:

You will need to wait for an invitation e-mail sent by the Droneguide admin of that operator

In case you do not appear in the list of pilots of any valid Class1 operator’s Ops manual:

You are in fact not allowed to execute Class 1 flights. You should fly in Class 2 and get yourself a Class 2 Droneguide operator account

In case you are both a Class1 Pilot AND legal representative of a Class1 Operator with either a valid 1B Declaration or a valid 1A Authorization:

The best way to start is to go back to the page ‘You represent a Class 1 operator’

Just as reminder

A Class 1 PILOT is …

  • … a person that holds a valid Class1 RPAS pilot license
  • … somebody who’s name appears on the list of pilots in a valid operations manual of at least one BCAA-authorised Class 1 (A or B) operator

Please be aware:

if you have a Class 1 pilot license but your name does not appear in any valid operations manual of any Class 1 authorized operator, you are not allowed to execute Class 1 flights. You should fly in Class 2 and get yourself a Class 2 Droneguide operator account
