What does a SIM Pilot do at EPNB?
As a Simulator Pilot, you support simulator training sessions by realistically simulating air traffic. You work closely with instructors and trainees and help to ensure that training courses run smoothly.
Your responsibilities:
- simulating air traffic during training sessions;
- supporting instructors and participants during exercises;
- training and supervising new simulator pilots;
- contributing to the improvement of training materials and simulator exercises;
- providing support for theoretical training and other training activities.
We offer a one-year fixed-term contract within an international and dynamic training environment in the aviation sector.

Wat maakt jou de ideale SIM Pilot?
- Je hebt minimaal een diploma secundair onderwijs;
- Een pilotenlicentie is een pluspunt;
- Je hebt een goede kennis van “aviation-English” en gebruikt de juiste phraeseology;
- Je hebt goede IT-vaardigheden;
- Je beheerst het Engels vlot, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk;
- Je werkt nauwkeurig en volgt procedures correct op;
- Je bent een teamspeler met sterke communicatieve vaardigheden;
- Je bent flexibel en past je vlot aan nieuwe situaties aan;
- Je blijft rustig en efficiënt werken, ook onder druk;
Veiligheidsverificatie
In het kader van de vacature waarvoor u zich kandidaat stelt dienen wij uw bijzondere aandacht te vestigen op het feit dat de kandidaten voor het uitoefenen van een functie bij skeyes voorafgaandelijk een veiligheidsverificatie dienen te ondergaan dewelke uitgevoerd wordt door de Nationale Veiligheidsoverheid.
