Data Engineer

If so, skeyes is looking for a talented Data Engineer to join the Operationnal Data Services department. As a Data Engineer at skeyes, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the data architecture that powers our organization's decision-making processes.
What does a Data Engineerat skeyes?
- Develop scripts leveraging internal and external APIs to ingest raw data,
- Transform and model raw data in accordance with skeyes’ business rules,
- Ensure data quality at each step of the process,
- Develop internal package to ease internal development,
- Set up CI/CD pipeline to automate and robustify the delivery process,
- Schedule and monitor data pipeline,
- Contribute to the skeyes’ data warehouse creation,
- Enable internal self-service data,
- Gather technical and business information from the skeyes collaborators,
- Collaborate with IT department for infrastructure purposes,
- Provide support in data governance and data quality initiatives, ensuring compliance with data standards, security protocols, and privacy regulations,
- Be part and an agile team composed of BI analysts and Data engineers.
Candidate profile
What makes you the ideal Data Engineer ?
- Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, Data engineering,
- 3 to 5 years’ experience as a Data Engineer/ Software Engineer,
- Strong Python development abilities,
- SQL capacity to develop complex queries,
- Ability to work with a DevOps platform (version control, CI/CD),
- Experience in the cloud, preferably Microsoft Azure,
- Experience in Fabric, Databricks or Snowflake is a plus,
- Experience with the language Go is a plus,
- Experience in Docker and Kubernettes is a plus,
- Air Traffic Management knowledge is a plus,
- Ability to handle highly confidential data with integrity and maintain a high level of trust and professionalism,
- Focus on data accuracy, quality and integrity, paying attention to the smallest details,
- Strong problem-solving skills to analyse complex situations and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
