Looking to start a high-flying career?

31/08/2026

On Monday 31 August 2026, skeyes is launching its recruitment campaign for air traffic controllers. This is an opportunity for hundreds of candidates to try their luck in the selection tests and perhaps open the doors to the exciting world of aviation. Contributing directly to the safety and efficiency of air traffic is a rewarding and fulfilling job that requires a high level of expertise.

skeyes will equip you with the skills you need by providing state-of-the-art training that will turn you into an air traffic management specialist. However, to gain access to this training, you will need to sit the selection tests. These are designed to assess your aptitude for the role and do not require any prior knowledge of aviation. The only requirements for sitting the selection tests are as follows:

  • you must be a Belgian national or a citizen of the European Union;
  • hold a higher secondary school qualification or equivalent;
  • be at least 18 years old on 31 December 2026 and no older than 30 on the closing date for applications (11 October 2026);
  • be in full possession of your civil and political rights;
  • you can’t have taken part in the skeyes recruitment competition in the last two years.

Furthermore, certain qualities such as your analytical skills, spatial awareness and responsiveness, as well as your motivation and level of English, will be your greatest assets in securing a place amongst the successful candidates.

Ready to spread your wings?

You have until 11 October 2026 inclusive to submit your application. Don’t wait until the last minute to make up your mind, as you will need to upload documents to register for the recruitment process (a copy of your identity card, your qualification certificate, your CV or other documents depending on your circumstances).

The application process, along with all the information regarding access to the selection tests, training and the role of air traffic controller (ATCO), can be found at https://atco.skeyes.be
