Airspace Design Analyst

You will actively contribute to the design, analysis and optimisation of airspace. You will support the projects led by the Airspace Design Cell by carrying out technical studies, impact analyses and simulations, and by preparing the documentation needed to validate and implement airspace modifications.

What does an Airspace Design Analyst do at skeyes?

Technical support for airspace design:

  • Participating in the definition of airspace structures according to performance, safety and efficiency objectives;
  • Carrying out technical analyses based on operational data (traffic, capacity, delays, complexity).

Simulation, modelling and assessment:

  • Using specialised tools (TAAM, NEST, ArcGIS, etc.) to simulate airspace modification scenarios;
  • Assessing the potential impact of projects led by skeyes and adjacent ANSPs on traffic safety, capacity and efficiency, controller workload and the environment;
  • Contributing to the preparation of Safety Assessments and Risk Analysis files.

Regulatory compliance support:

  • Ensuring that projects comply with the standards and recommendations in force (ICAO, EASA, National Authority);
  • Contributing to the drafting of the technical and regulatory documentation required for the validation of airspace modifications.

Collaboration and communication:

  • Working closely with the Operations, Flight Procedure Design, Safety, Environment and other teams;
  • Participating in internal and external technical meetings and presenting the results of analyses and simulations.

Candidate profile

What makes you the ideal Airspace Design Analyst?

  • You have a Master's degree.
  • You are familiar with simulation and modelling tools such as TAAM, NEST, AirTOp or equivalent.
  • You are a motivated and proactive professional with strong analytical and synthesising skills;
  • You have excellent technical writing skills.
  • You are fluent in English and it is considered an asset if you are able to express yourself in French and/or Dutch.
