Data Excellence Process Manager

As our Data Excellence Process Manager, you are an expert in and responsible for data-driven business processes, especially those surrounding operations such as HR, Finance, planning, training, licence management, etc.   You analyse, optimise and monitor cross-functional processes that span multiple departments, with a sharp focus on the integration and application of critical data and data flows. You process data from various sources into valuable insights, making continuous improvement of processes and results the norm. By proactively identifying bottlenecks and encouraging collaboration, you ensure the continuity, reliability and efficiency of business processes, while guaranteeing the highest possible quality standard of processes and data. You play a crucial role in strategic transformation programmes and digitisation projects, with the aim of increasing effectiveness and transparency.

What does a Data Excellence Process Manager do at skeyes?

  • identify and optimise business processes: you will map existing processes, identify inefficiencies and propose improvement actions, with a focus on digitisation and automation of these processes or parts of them;
  • design new processes: you design and formalise new processes where they have demonstrable added value, based on insightful data analysis, and do so in collaboration with all teams involved to promote synergies in the best possible way;
  • process implementation and management: you take the lead in implementing improvements and ensure that formalised processes remain up to date;
  • process monitoring and quality assurance: you monitor the correct application of processes, evaluate conformity with standards and report on process quality and performance;
  • analysis and recommendations: you perform analysis on structural problems in business processes and formulate concrete recommendations for improvement;
  • leading improvement projects: you take the lead in the implementation and follow-up of process optimisation, simplification, digitisation and automation projects;
  • quality management and compliance: you actively contribute to quality management, make your insights available in internal and external audits and promote a culture of quality process management;
  • data flow optimisation: you optimise data flows and ensure correct and timely data flow between operational and administrative services;
  • bridge between operations and IT : you identify and consolidate business needs and act as a link to internal providers of data, tools and IT systems;
  • change management and governance: you guide change management processes, stimulate continuous improvement and set up governance around process management.

Candidate profile

What makes you the perfect Data Excellence Process Manager?

  • you have a master's degree or bachelor's combined with hands-on experience in relevant similar management roles or impactful expert positions;
  • you have at least 5 years' experience in similar initiatives/work environment with a specific role or you have high potential credentials which means you can acquire the requested experience very quickly;
  • you have strong understanding of end-to-end processes & data management to do targeted analysis in order to identify the core of problems and implement data-driven solutions;
  • you have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
  • you have knowledge of data governance, for business process optimisation, reliable decision making, compliance and risk mitigation and confidence in data and data-driven culture;
  • you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into clear product requirements and define strategic roadmaps;
  • you have experience in project management practices, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple competing priorities;
  • you are able to handle highly confidential data and maintain a high level of trust and professionalism;
  • you are proactive and motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and a drive to deliver high quality work that meets the needs of the business;
  • you can coordinate with various stakeholders and follow up projects with an eye for detail and deadlines;
  • given the transversal involvement across many departments and teams, a fluent use of NL, FR and ENG is highly desirable.
