What does a skeyes Financial Controller do?
As our Financial Controller, you will be part of a team of experts in budgeting, control and financial analysis.
- Guidance
skeyes has switched to a decentralised budgeting process, shifting budget ownership to the business. As financial controller, you guide and support the business in this budgeting process. You are their partner for all financial questions and challenges. - Financial analysis, budgeting and reporting
In cooperation with the business, you carry out financial feasibility studies. You are also responsible for translating the corporate strategy into financial business plans and for drawing up and monitoring budgets of technical and operational departments and reporting on them. The monthly financial reporting of Actuals versus Budget is also part of the tasks.
- Advise, but also challenge
Based on your analyses and insights, you think along with the business and identify what optimisations are needed. During budget review sessions, you know how to challenge the proposals.
Candidate profile
What makes you the ideal Financial Controller?
- You have a Master's degree in economics or finance.
- A first experience is a plus, but not a must.
- Your analytical skills enable you to question matters critically where necessary.
- You can naturally easily motivate and convince people.
- You have a perfect command of one of the two national languages and can also express yourself well in Dutch and/or French and English.
- You have a good understanding of Excel.
