What does a Financial Controlling Manager do at skeyes?
People management
You lead and inspire a team of Financial Controllers and provide structure, coaching and development. Thanks to your approach, the potential of each team member is optimally exploited.
- You plan and distribute the work within the team and follow up on the results.
- You coach employees and ensure continuous development.
- You build a strong team with room for feedback, motivation and growth.
- You ensure a qualitative and timely implementation of, among other things:
- investment budgets, annual and multiannual plans;
- financial analysis;
- monitoring cost efficiency;
- monthly financial reporting to management;
- reporting to Eurocontrol and European institutions.
Strategy & optimisation
In close cooperation with the CFO management, you contribute to a forward-looking financial policy for skeyes.
- You actively contribute to the development of the medium and long-term financial strategy.
- You identify and implement optimisations and automations within processes.
- You lead improvement projects and monitor quality through relevant KPIs.
Internal and external cooperation
You act as a liaison, working together both internally and externally on strong financial support.
- You serve as a point of contact for internal budget owners and external stakeholders.
- You coordinate and support operational collaborations with different departments.
- You assist the financial Business Partners in their role within the organisation.
Policy drafting
You will advise the Senior Manager on policy choices and future developments within Finance & Controlling. Your insights form a valuable basis for decisions at the highest level.
Candidate profile
What do we expect from the ideal Financial Controlling Manager?
- At least 10 years of experience in finance, of which at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- A master's degree in a financial-economic field.
- Proven expertise in controlling and/or financial management.
- Leadership qualities and strong people skills that motivate and develop others.
- A strategic mindset combined with a solution-oriented approach.
- Strong communication skills, analytical thinking and the ability to prioritise.
- Accuracy and attention to detail are essential to ensure reliable analysis and reporting
- Smooth knowledge of English, complemented by a good command of Dutch and French.
