Inspection Coordinator

What does a skeyes Inspection Coordinator do?

As an Inspection Coordinator, you will strive to manage all installations to be inspected within skeyes by developing and following an internal procedure.

  • You identify all current and future installations and materials to be inspected and ensure mandatory inspections.
    • You are responsible for planning, preparing and following up on statutory inspections both internally and with the inspector.
    • You then coordinate with the maintenance company and technicians to translate the inspector's findings into actions.
    • You establish and follow up on internal procedures so that all installations are inspected on time. You keep the inspection certificates in a database and communicate the necessary data to the prevention advisor and the environmental coordinator.
  • You will work together with the Special Techniques Engineer for the design, study and planning of new installations or modifications to existing installations to ensure inspection.
    • You make the work organisation and planning in consultation with the engineers;
    • You organise and plan the work orders.
    • You keep the as-built files, legal documents to be submitted, work planning and the follow-up of work permits up to date.
  • You will create and follow up on procurement files of inspections outside the framework contracts.
    • You contact potential inspectors and organise requests for quotation.
    • You negotiate price quotes with suppliers and record agreements on quality, conformity, planning, prices, etc.
    • You assign a purchase file to certain suppliers in consultation with the Technical Support Manager.
  • You will compile the file regarding electricity for existing or new installations.

Candidate profile

What makes you the perfect Inspection Coordinator?

  • you obtained a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent through experience.
  • you have a minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar position.
  • you have a good command of Dutch and French.
  • you are versatile and solution-oriented.
  • you are someone who sees work and have a hands-on mentality.
  • you are flexible in terms of hours and do not have a 9-to-5 mentality.
  • you are stress-resistant.
  • your ability to work with the Vario software is a plus.
  • you can write work instructions and procedures for inspections.
