IT Compliance & Change Manager
As our IT Compliance & Change Manager you play a central role in ensuring the quality, stability, and compliance of our IT operations. You act as the key point of contact for IT audits, the Quality Management System (QMS), and all change and release management processes. Reporting to IT leadership, you drive collaboration and process maturity, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
What does an IT Compliance & Change Manager do at skeyes?
- You coordinate and manage all IT change and release processes to ensure operational stability and service quality. You chair the Change Advisory Board (CAB), oversee all proposed changes and releases, and ensure they are aligned with quality, documentation, and planning standards before deployment.
- You act as the process owner for change and release management. You define, document, and maintain the process, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and launch improvement initiatives to raise process maturity over time. You aim for streamlined and standardised change practices across the organisation.
- You coordinate closely with project managers and ensure all releases align with operational calendars, freeze periods, and safety requirements. You also contribute to emergency change handling, including initiating Post Implementation Reviews (PIRs) when needed.
- You serve as the liaison between IT and the skeyes Quality Management System (QMS) team. You ensure smooth collaboration, facilitate communication with IT leadership, and support compliance with standards such as ISO9001 and aviation-specific regulations.
- You coordinate corrective actions, maintain audit documentation, and ensure timely resolution of findings in alignment with compliance goals.
- You are responsible for aligning internal IT processes with governance standards. You ensure all policies, instructions, and standards are consistently applied and contribute to operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation.
Candidate profile
What makes you the perfect IT Compliance & Change Manager?
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. IT, business administration, information management).
- You have at least 5 years of experience in IT Service Management, IT governance, audit, and compliance, preferably in complex or regulated environments.
- You have successfully designed, implemented, and improved governance frameworks and processes across a complex IT landscape.
- You are experienced in managing change and release cycles, including risk assessments, stakeholder coordination, and deployment planning in critical production environments.
- You bring a governance- and compliance-oriented mindset. You are detail-oriented and ensure that processes, policies, and documentation meet internal and regulatory standards.
- You are an excellent communicator, able to explain complex concepts in a clear, structured manner to both technical and non-technical audiences. You are comfortable interacting with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- You are reliable, responsible, and a true team player. You build trust and foster collaboration across departments.
- You hold relevant certifications or equivalent experience:
- COBIT
- ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library)
- You work fluently in both Dutch and French and are proficient in English.
- Experience in the aviation industry is a strong asset.
