Planner
As a Planner within the skeyes Workforce Management team, you are responsible for optimum staff deployment within both operational and administrative services that contribute to air traffic control. You will ensure continuity of service 24/7 by drawing up, monitoring and adjusting timetables. You also play a central role in recording and managing performance, presences and absences, providing essential input for correct and timely payroll processing. You help ensure that current labour laws, social legislation and union agreements are meticulously observed. You work closely with operational and administrative teams and are the point of contact for ad hoc questions, absences and change requests.
What does a Planner do at skeyes?
- Planning & Publication of timetables
- Drawing up timetables taking into account licences, preferences, medical appointments and night shifts;
- Scheduling non-operational activities such as training, ELPAC and medical appointments;
- checking staffing levels and rule violations;
- Publishing schedules in SPx based on HR lists (career breaks, opt-outs, modified employment);
- Participating in weekly consultation moments with the Roster Team and Operations Management.
- Daily Staffing (daily follow-up)
- Resolving planning gaps (missing shifts, swaps, absences);
- Daily communicating with supervisors and operations on current staffing;
- Managing mailbox and following up ad hoc questions.
- Administration & Analysis
- Performance management;
- Preparing analyses and detecting bottlenecks within operational as well as administrative schedules.
- Holiday planning
- Processing holiday preferences and drawing up holiday planning;
- Consultation with team leaders and representatives in case of bottlenecks;
- Managing ad hoc leave requests and changes.
Candidate profile
What makes you the perfect Planner ?
- You are accurate, stress-resistant and know how to move quickly in a complex and dynamic working environment.
- You have strong planning and organisational skills and enjoy working in a team.
- You communicate fluently and professionally with a variety of internal stakeholders, both by phone and e-mail.
- You have at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a medium or large organisation.
- Experience in an operational context (such as dispatching) and in a 24/7 environment is an important asset.
- Working in a shift system and during weekends is not a problem for you;
- You have strong analytical skills and can work independently, efficiently and conscientiously.
- You have an excellent knowledge of Outlook and Excel, and you are quickly familiar with IT systems and data processing.
- Knowledge of planning software such as SP-Expert, Aris and Orbiter is a plus.
- You combine assertiveness with diplomacy in your communication.
- You stay focused under pressure and always maintain an overview.
- You reflect critically on your work and constantly strive for improvement.
- You are proactive, take initiative and contribute to optimisation.
- You have a good knowledge of Dutch, French and English.
