Planning Coordinator (EPNB)

Main Purpose of the position

Plan and coordinate resources supporting the delivery of courses, pilot schedule and external instructors when required in accordance with the Delivery Flow. Responsible for any corporate administration.

In addition, this role is main point of contact towards the EPN Quality and Compliance Manager.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for the planning, coordination and long-term reservations of classrooms, pilots, students and staff.
  • Liaise with planning and development departments (both EPN and skeyes) to determine required resources.
  • Responsible for the administration of freelance instructors and freelance simulator pilots.
  • Coordinate all company vouchers/invoices with payment approvals to the Finance Controller.
  • Define resources required to complete projects and courses.
  • Issue rosters to contracted and fixed staff simulator pilots whenever required.
  • Part of the MoSQ EPNB workgroup, ensuring all theoretical and practical instructors are appropriately qualified.
  • Responsible for the Instructor Confirmation (IC) process.
  • Ensure that Practical Instructors have access to EPNB premises during their courses (security checks valid).
  • Ensure that simulator pilots (contracted and fixed staff) have access to EPNB premises and Phoenix (skeyes simulator) during the courses they are affected to (Security checks valid).
  • Represent EPNB at various internal and external forums and audits.
  • Participate in yearly reviews of the skeyes ATC TO - EPNB MoC.
  • Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
  • For some assignments the job holder is expected to travel to EPN Group delivery sites or locations required by the customer.
  • Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards.
  • Support EPN Quality and Compliance Manager in his/her tasks.

Candidate profile

  • Education and experience
    The role requires an academic degree or relevant education or at least some years of relevant job experience. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. An international background is preferable. Extensive knowledge of IT tools is required. Important to be flexible, have strong administrative skills, and have a holistic mindset. ATM and ATS Regulatory experience are preferred.
