Specialised ATM Maintenance Unit Supervisor

As our Specialised ATM Maintenance Unit Supervisor you take charge of daily maintenance within your domain. You manage a team of technicians and experts, organise the work efficiently and actively contribute to the further development of both your employees and the functioning of the service. You represent your team within and outside skeyes, and play a key role in improving and implementing systems that are essential for safe and efficient aviation.

What does a Specialised ATM Maintenance Unit Supervisor do at skeyes?

  • you lead and organise the operational work of your maintenance or expert team and build positive team dynamics;
  • you optimise processes within your department, identify bottlenecks and propose improvement measures to management;
  • you coordinate cooperation with other departments and ensure smooth communication and coordination;
  • you manage and check logbooks and maintenance data, and ensure correct follow-up;
  • together with the Manager, you draw up the necessary operational reports;
  • where necessary, you will also carry out corrective maintenance yourself – you will remain involved on the work floor;
  • you will be responsible for supervising training courses and exams for the maintenance team;
  • you also support other maintenance teams when necessary;
  • you supervise internal and external audits within your domain;
  • you represent skeyes at meetings with manufacturers, BAC and other stakeholders;
  • you actively participate in the optimisation and installation of technical systems, in close collaboration with the support engineers and project managers.

Candidate profile

Why are you our perfect Specialised ATM Maintenance Unit Supervisor?

  • you have at least 7 years of relevant experience, ideally partly within the ATM (Air Traffic Management) domain;
  • you hold a bachelor's or master's degree (preferably in electronics or ICT), or have equivalent experience;
  • you have solid knowledge of ITIL processes, especially in the areas of incident, problem and change management;
  • you have strong affinity with aviation and a passion for technology and innovation;
  • your leadership qualities: you know how to motivate, manage and get a team to work together towards common goals;
  • you are customer-focused, pragmatic, communicative, diplomatic and enthusiastic;
  • you have sharp analytical skills and a real hands-on mentality;
  • you communicate fluently in Dutch or French, have a good knowledge of the other national language and speak fluent English.
