Supervisor of the Specialised maintenance cell RadioCom
As our Supervisor of the Specialised maintenance cell RadioCom you are responsible for managing and organising the daily maintenance activities within your domain. You ensure efficient operation of the service and contribute to your team’s professional growth. You represent the service before internal and external stakeholders and provide support in the systems’ implementation and optimisation.
What do you do as a Supervisor of the Specialised maintenance cell RadioCom at skeyes?
- You lead and organise the operational work of the maintenance team. In doing so, you stimulate motivation and cooperation within the team.
- You optimise the operation and processes within the service and identify and report specific problems to management.
- You coordinate direct cooperation with other services.
- You manage and check the logs and ensure their follow-up.
- You draft operational reports in cooperation with the manager.
- You perform corrective maintenance if necessary.
- You supervise training and organise exams within the maintenance team.
- You support other maintenance teams if necessary.
- You accompany internal and external audits.
- You represent skeyes at meetings with manufacturers, Brussels Airport Company (BAC) and other stakeholders.
- You participate in the optimisation of existing systems and the installation of new systems in collaboration with the CNS/ATM/MET systems support engineers.
- You support projects around new systems in collaboration with the project managers.
Candidate profile
What makes you the ideal Supervisor of the Specialised maintenance cell RadioCom?
- You have at least 7 years of relevant experience.
- You hold a bachelor's or master's degree preferably in electronics or ICT, or equivalent through experience.
- You have a thorough knowledge of electronics and RF technology in particular.
- Working at height (e.g. inspections/repairs in antenna masts) does not scare you off.
- You are very familiar with the ITIL principles and processes regarding incident, problem and change management.
- You have a healthy interest in or connection with aviation and a passion for technology.
- You know how to effectively manage, motivate and bring a team together for optimal results.
- You are customer-oriented, hands-on, communicative, diplomatic and driven.
- You have strong analytical skills and a hands-on mentality.
- You communicate smoothly and adapt your communication style to the target audience.
- You speak Dutch or French with a solid knowledge of the other language and fluent English.
